Starting December 19, 2012, low cost Indian carrier SpiceJet will offer daily flights from Ahmedabad to Dubai.
Ahmedabad will be the third Indian city to clamber aboard SpiceJet's Dubai route, after Mumbai and New Delhi.
SpiceJet will operate the Ahmedabad-Dubai route with the Boeing 737 -800 aircraft, which has a capacity of 189.
Flight SG 015 will leave Ahmedabad at 17:00 hours daily and touch down in Dubai at 18:25.
On the return leg, Flight SG 016 will take off from Dubai at 19:25 and reach Ahmedabad at 23:30.
SpiceJet - More International Flights
As part of its international expansion, SpiceJet is also offering daily flights from the South Indian city of Kochi to Male and Dubai.
The Kochi-Dubai flight will take to the air on December 10, 2012.
Flight SG 017 will leave Kochi at 17:10 and land at Dubai at 19:50.
On the return trip, Flight SG 018 will take off from Dubai at 20:45 and touch down in Kochi at 02:25.
On November 29, SpiceJet launched a daily flight to Male, capital city of the island nation of Maldives, using the short haul Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
The Male flight has a seating capacity of 78.
Located south-west of India, Maldives is a major tourist destination attracting people from far and wide.
Flight SG 3901 leaves Kochi daily at 12:50 and lands at Male airport at 14:40.
On the return trip, Flight SG 3902 departs from Male at 15:15 and reaches Kochi at 17:05.
The Male flight takes the total number of international destinations on SpiceJet's network to five.
Besides the Maldives, SpiceJet's international network includes Kathmandu (Nepal), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Kabul (Afghanistan) and Dubai (UAE).
