Award winning Indian chef Vineet Bhatia is one of four acclaimed chefs chosen by Qatar Airways to boost the inflight dining experience of its passengers.
A familiar name in top culinary circles, Vineet Bhatia is the only Indian chef to have won two Michelin stars.
In his younger days, Bhatia, like millions of us mesmerized by the magic of flying, dreamt of being a pilot before embarking on a high flying career in top kitchens.
Bhatia along with three other renowned chefs, Ramzi Choueiri (expert in Middle Eastern cuisine), Tom Aikens (European cuisine) and Nobu Matsuhisa (Asian fusion), has created a new 'Qatar Airways Culinary World Menu.'

The menu promises to pamper the taste buds of the airline's passengers with a new range of tempting signature dishes.
The four chefs faced a formidable challenge in creating a memorable inflight dining experience for Qatar Airways passengers.
The kitchen wizards not only had to take into account flavors, textures, arrangements, aromas and tastes but also how taste buds are altered at 35,000 feet and what types of food are most suited to long-haul flights.
Showcasing his signature dishes at the announcement of Qatar Airways Culinary World Menu in Doha on Monday, September 17, 2012, Chef Vineet said: "My cooking comes from the heart. I believe in my food and I believe in what I do. As a child, I dreamt of being a pilot, so I jumped at the chance to work with Qatar Airways and share my passion with such an established and rapidly growing award-winning that is bringing a whole new travel experience to the world. My objective is to match the service with a 5-star dining experience."
Menu Roll Out
Qatar Airways has already started rolling out the new menus on flights to and from Doha International Airport.
The gourmet creations of the four master chefs will also be introduced to passengers onboard the airline’s new Boeing 787 Dreamliner when the next generation aircraft is inducted into Qatar Airways in the coming months.
Qatar Airways expects the four chefs will set a new standard for dining in the sky.
In July, Qatar Airways was was ranked the World's Best Airline in the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards for the second year in a row.
