Air France-KLM has rolled out SkyPriority services for travelers at select airports in India.
The airline will offer the priority airport services to its Elite Plus, First, Business Class and Premium Economy class customers in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore airports.
What is SkyPriority?
SkyPriority, an initiative of the 18-member global airlines alliance SkyTeam, provides a bunch of special services to enable travelers make their way faster inside the airports.
SkyPriority services including:
* Priority check-in areas
* Priority baggage drop-off
* Priority service at airport ticket offices
* Priority service at transfer desks
* Priority lines at security (not available everywhere)
* Priority boarding
* Priority baggage handling
The plan is to have SkyPriority services distinctively branded at the airports in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Eligible passengers' boarding passes will have a SkyPriority indicator.
SkyPriority services are currently available in 1,000 airports worldwide.
Air France-KLM's South Asia General Manager Yeshwant Pawar said, "Air France-KLM is proud to announce the roll out of the SkyPriority services. This will help align all members to a common and consistent service standard for priority airport services across the alliance, and also strengthen the group's position in the market by giving it a first mover advantage of offerings."
Air France-KLM is among the first members of SkyTeam to launch the SkyPriority services in India.
