Indian IT capital Bengaluru got another flight to the Gulf with Jet Airways announcing a new international service to Abu Dhabi effective March 1, 2014.
Jet's first flight to the Gulf region from Bengaluru, Flight 9W 504 will leave Kempegowda International Airport at 2030 hrs, and land at Abu Dhabi International Airport at 2330 hrs. On the return leg, Flight 9W 503 will depart Abu Dhabi at 1030 hrs and arrive in Bengaluru at 1620 hrs.
The airline is also starting a new daily direct service from Hyderabad to Abu Dhabi.
Flight 9W 550 will leave Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 2025 hrs and arrive in Abu Dhabi International Airport at 2310 hrs. On the return trip, Flight 9W 549 will depart Abu Dhabi at 1045 hrs and arrive in Hyderabad at 1610 hrs.
The new services will boost connectivity options for travelers flying to destinations in North America, Europe and Africa via Jet's partner Etihad Airways.
Telugus and Kannadigas in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware will welcome the new routes since it gives them more options to reach home via Etihad and then change to Jet Airways in Abu Dhabi.
To mark the introduction of the two new routes, Jet Airways is offering a promotional return Economy fare of Rs 21,725 (including taxes) on the Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi route. Première class introductory return fare on the route is Rs 42,440.
On the Hyderabad-Abu Dhabi route, the promotional return Economy fare is Rs 22,615. Premiere class introductory fare is Rs 48,578.
Promotional fares are valid for travel from March 1 and tickets must be booked and purchased by February 28, 2014.
Jet Airways is deploying the Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the new flights.
