Singapore's low cost airline Tiger Airways is expanding its footprint in South India.
Starting September 27, Tiger Airways will offer flights five times a week between Hyderabad and Singapore.
Hyderabad, Tiger Airways' sixth Indian destination, is the capital of Andhra Pradesh state and a major hub for software development. It's also the epicenter of the Telugu film industry a.k.a. Tollywood.
Tiger Airways already services a good portion of South India, via flights to Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Tiruchirappalli.
To mark the new Hyderabad service, Tiger Airways has rolled out a promotional fare of US$165 from Hyderabad to Singapore and S$190 from Singapore to Hyderabad for travel between September 27-Oct 31, 2012.
