Thanks to Lufthansa, Indians in Southern California will soon have another convenient way to get to the major cities in Mera Bharat Mahaan.
Starting December 10, Lufthansa will be launching daily direct flights to Frankfurt from Los Angeles on a new Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental aircraft.
Lufthansa has already taken delivery of the new aircraft with the registration D-ABYF and is making "final adjustments" to the plane at its home base in Frankfurt before it can enter service.
From Frankfurt, Lufthansa flies to the major Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Lufthansa's L.A.-Frankfurt flight on the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental is being configured to seat 388 passengers: eight in First Class, 80 in Business Class and 298 in Economy Class.

LH 456 will leave Frankfurt daily at 10AM and reach Los Angeles at 12:40PM.
On the return leg, LH 457 will depart from Los Angeles at 14:50 and touch down in Frankfurt the next day at 10:45AM.
